I found this topic pretty interesting. There are many people I know, including myself, that do shy away from networking. I, however, did not realize the importance networking can bring to any project. I guess it does make sense. The more human capital you know, the more resources you have to finish a project. In the case of stakeholders, when you find more connection to stakeholders, the more the stakeholder can provide to you. Whether the resources they provide is information or support, it can be useful in the process of project planning and project operations. I could see how socializing holds a big role in project management.
